Chicago Mayfest 2024! The event will take place in the heart of Lincoln Park on Armitage St. from Friday, May 17th to Sunday, May 19th. The fest will run between 5-10 PM on Friday, 12-10 PM on Saturday, and 12-9 PM on Sunday. This year, Mayfest will host several crowd-pleasing headliners on its mainstage, such as 16 Candles, Too Hype Crew, and Dancing Queen: An Abba Salute, and local up-and-coming DJs on its second stage, such as DJ G-String, Monty Kiddo and Nicky B.
For the past 25 years, Chicago Mayfest has served as the kick-off celebration of the summer festival season, and Star Events is excited to continue and grow the tradition. With thousands of attendees each year, the three-day extravaganza will give a platform to all the wonderful musicians, artists, and businesses from Chicago across two stages and over several blocks.
All proceeds will support the event and benefit Ranch Triangle Community Conservation Association, which advocates for and on behalf of its residents to improve and sustain a high quality of city life. This revenue will help support the community throughout the year by promoting and encouraging small businesses along the Armitage, Halsted, and Clybourn shopping areas, supporting schools, improving public education, supporting existing parks, and advocating for new parks in the area. This event is known for showcasing some of the best music, entertainment, and festival food in all of Chicago. What could be better?

I am also a proud board member of the Nanny Relief Fund. We are a non-profit that provides tangible support to nannies in need. At Mayfest, I will be collecting donations via cash, credit card, PayPal, and Venmo to support our efforts. As a thank you, everyone who donates gets a brand new children's book of their picking! The book can be for your child, a child you care for, a grandchild, or any child's life you want to enrich. Or have it be a teachable moment for children to learn about philanthropy. We are asking for donations in $2, $3, and $5 denominations. But any donation is truly welcomed!
